Well, it’s been a few days…
Since my last blog, mainly due to feeling pretty rough with some of the side effects from the Chemotherapy, which many told me could or would be harsh at times, but it’s like anything, until you do the journey, no one knows how bad it can be.
I hosted a few radio shows this week, on Wednesday and Thursday, on CPRFM.com 95.1-100.2, and although I was still not feeling my best, I managed to pull both shows off without anyone knowing.
San & I popped over to Royal Tunbridge Wells yesterday for a bit of shopping, and we managed to do a few silly TikTok videos in Homesense. San’s video received over 460 views, which you can watch at the bottom of this blog.
On the flip side, while we were having lunch out, like a dork, I managed to drop tomato sauce on my blue T-shirt, now not wanting to look like a four-year-old who had just fallen asleep in a bowl of baked beans, we high-tailed it to the nearest Sainsbury’s to buy a clean T-shirt., but they don’t sell men’s clothing, so we or should I say me thought lets buy a ladies T-Shirt size 20 Black, once purchased off to the loos to change, and now I’m known as Michelle!
Later in the day after seeing my consultant, he confirmed that the first month of Hormone treatment was working well, with the PSA level falling from 1600 to 500, which is a very positive start. We were aware of this, but it wasn’t 100% confirmed, so we feel positive that the rest of the Chemotherapy should have a more significant impact on future results.
