It’s Been An Interesting Day…
Starting with my last Show on local FM radio. It’s such a shame how a few individuals can spoil it for the rest. Green-eyed monsters strike again; that’s what happens when you make things look easy. On the other hand, this marks more of a beginning than an end, as my Show will continue online and on DAB.
Next, the Internet decided it was having a bad hair day, and nothing was going to wash that out anytime soon. Blooming Tek for you, who would ever get into IT?
So, I put down my tools and dug out my old iPod. Luckily for me, it still had some charge, and amazingly, some fairly decent music on it. Can’t beat a bit of ABBA’s’ Dancing Queen’, and Kings of Leon and boom, what a playlist you have! So boom, you’re back in the room.
Had dinner with San, and then we took a slow walk to Hawkhurst Moor, all of two minutes around the corner, where the Fun Fair was in full swing, some great old-style rides and of course the side stalls. We had a little treat of Ice Cream with sprinkles and a flake that tasted like a dog’s back end, if you get my drift. As you know, chocolate tastes rank at the moment since the chemo.
Health-wise, I’m feeling better and starting to regain my sense of taste again. However, I have a blood test first thing, and then Bank Holiday Monday starts the second round of chemo. Let’s hope it’s gentler this time.
Back home, and finally, the Internet is back online—at least for now. It’s that time of the evening when the ZZZzzz are calling.
