Cloning number plates is never a good thing!
It’s been a while since my last blog update. I would like to start with a negative reference to one London Borough Council, which is playing hardball, specifically regarding the cloning of my company’s van number plates. They seem not to be interested, even though we have supplied plenty of evidence that a Black KIA hatchback car is using our number plates. However, the company van is a silver Citroën and is branded.
This has caused a lot of stress and expense in trying to get this sorted. The fines are starting to skyrocket, and I’m NOT prepared to give in and pay for something that happened while I was in the hospital, undergoing treatment. Clearly, the van has never been parked up in Kent during this time. If this goes to court, they will likely lose, and it will be a waste of time and taxpayer money.
On the plus side, after today’s chemotherapy, the blood test shows my PSA levels are now down to 3, which is brilliant news, considering the level was nearly 20,000 four months ago. This demonstrates that medical science is more effective than herbal remedies, which still lack a solid underlying foundation. However, herbal and dietary supplements may work for some, but for me, I’m sticking with what seems to be working so far. We’re not out of the woods, but there is hope on the horizon.
As I’ve always said during this journey, a positive mind is key, and having a great wife, best friend, as well as family & friends backing you is just incredible, knowing there are always people thinking about you.
So, if you’re still wondering if it’s worth visiting the doctor to get yourself checked out, stop hesitating and make an appointment to see your local GP. It’s best to know soon, rather than later, when it could be too late.
Last, but not least! I want to send our love and hope to Zoës & Jason, great friends who are also going through a tough time.X
